A 4-digit code for adult-only groups, groups locked automatically, and kids profiles.

The parental code
The parental code is a 4-digit code, the same for the whole device. It protects adult-only groups. There are two ways to create it:
- in SettingsParental controlCreate a parental code;
- or by opening a protected group for the first time: Zappia shows Choose a parental code, and the code you type becomes yours.
Choose 4 digits that are easy for you to remember and hard for kids to guess. To change it: SettingsParental controlChange the parental code.
Groups locked automatically
Zappia automatically locks groups whose name suggests adult content (“XXX”, “Adult”, “18+”…). They show a padlock. To open one, Zappia asks for the code: Enter the parental code to open “…”.
An unlocked group stays unlocked during your visit; it locks again afterward. Channels in protected groups also don’t appear in All channels, favorites, recent channels, search or the guide.
Protect other groups Premium
To protect (or stop protecting) any group of channels, movies or series:
- Open SettingsChannels and groupsOrganize channel groups (or movie or series categories).
- Tap the group’s padlock: Protect or Stop protecting.
Kids profiles Premium
A profile marked Kids profile doesn’t see protected groups at all: they are invisible, without even a padlock. From a kids profile:
- switching to an adult profile requires the parental code;
- managing, editing or deleting profiles requires the parental code.
