Add a playlist

#What kind of playlist do you have?

Look at what your provider gave you:

#With Xtream credentials

The Your subscription credentials screen asks for:

• Server address: the full address with its port, for example http://myserver.com:8080;
• Username and Password: copy them exactly, with no extra spaces (capital letters matter);
• Display name (optional): the playlist’s name in Zappia. With no name, Zappia uses the server’s.

Choose Continue: Zappia checks the credentials right away (Checking…). If there’s a problem, a red box explains why, for example The server rejected the username or password.

#With an M3U link or an .m3u file

The Your list link screen asks for the full address, in the List link (M3U) field. The easiest way is to copy it from your provider’s message and paste it.

On phones and tablets, the Open an .m3u file button opens Android’s file picker so you can choose a file saved on the device.

#Enter it from your phone (QR code)

Typing a password with a remote is a pain: Zappia lets you enter everything on another device (phone, tablet, computer) connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

1. On the TV, choose Set up from your phone on the welcome screen, or Enter from another device in the credentials or link form.
2. A QR code appears, along with an address you can type in a browser if you prefer.
3. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code and open the page it suggests.
4. On the Set up the device page, open I have credentials (server, username, password) or I have a list link (M3U), fill in the fields, then tap Send to the device.
5. The phone shows Received! Look at the device. and the TV immediately starts preparing your channels.

If it doesn’t work

• The device isn’t responding. Are you on the same Wi-Fi?: the phone is probably on mobile data or on another network (guest network, second router). Connect it to the same Wi-Fi as the TV.
• This device isn’t connected to any local network.: the TV has no network. Connect it to Wi-Fi or with a network cable, then try again.

#Adding another playlist

To add a second playlist: Settings›My lists›Add a list. The first playlist is free; additional ones require Zappia Premium Premium.
